If your child is absent from school for any reason, it is essential that you let the school office know the reason by telephone (01622 743577) on the first morning, followed by a note to the class teacher on their return. Please do not use the Home Link Books for absence notes.
 
If you wish your child to leave school during the day for an appointment, please ensure that you inform your child’s class teacher beforehand.
 
If you wish to take a holiday during term time, you must fill in a holiday form, available to download , or from the school office.

Schools can only authorise up to two weeks absence for family holidays in one academic year (1 September to 31 August). 

Any absence for family holidays over and above this amount count as unauthorised absence.
